Tuesday

Went up to Sacré Cœur this evening for a walk. The City Of Lights was looking a bit dark, but still pretty. We were sitting on the steps chatting when one of the girls (Known as Shaz to us!) saw a man stealing a bag from people a few steps in front of us. She ran after and grabbed him, and got the bag back! Very exciting stuff! The people weren't as grateful as they should have been. Montmarte can be such a paradox. It's so quiet in some areas, with lots of little bistros and small windy streets. Then you turn a corner and find miscreants like the thief or the Clichy area!

Took advantage of the €2 cinema today and went to see a film called Definitely, Maybe....... It was awful!
Going to see In Bruges tomorrow. It's about some Irish lads... who go to Bruges! Speaking of Irish lads, Brian Cowen is in Paris this week for some EU lark. France takes over the Presidency of the EU tomorrow so I think Sarkozy is going to (try) and sort us out! In a nod to this, La Tour Eiffel was light up with blue lights tonight, instead of its' usual yellow.... I prefer the yellow.

I heard that Bruges movie is really good.Colin Farell is in it, isn't he?
I can't believe these people were not more grateful.I mean come one.Who ever got back my bag....I would kiss him or offer her a coffee or whatever. It's so cool that she ran after him and actually got it back. She's a little hero.
